Britain's Most Loved and Best Comedy Double Act

Music Hall Selection - page 3

Feature from 2008

The Costello Twins
Now we had a problem here...

Trying to search for any information on these two lovelys always brought back some rather dodgy returns on a more up to date set of models!

Our original Costello Twins, Dorothy and Ruth, were very well known in their day, performing all over the country.

And we like their costumes too, reminds us of the Princess Leia bikini in Star Wars... I wonder if Goerge Lucas knew these ladies?

The Myrons
Sensational Australian perch and foot balancing act.

Like so many acts from this era, we just don’t see their type anymore.

I guess from the description, the act was like a trapeze act but without the swinging that is performed by two people dressed like Thunderbirds.

Unknown Artist
We would like some help here…

From the picture (which we like) we are guessing that this mysterious person is called Jessie Harris - but we could be wrong.

We presume he was a magacian of some kind or maybe a fortune teller - he certainly likes his candles.
