Ernie Unveiled The Statue of Ernie Wise was finally unveiled on a glorious sunny day in Morley infront of a large crowd of onlookers. Read our feature about the event and watch out for more goodies coming soon.

Garage Tapes Played As previously mention in our news, the programme that would air the rare recordings of Morecambe and Wise, found by Doreen last year, was postponed. The programme, Morecambe and Wise: The Garage Tapes will now be played by Radio 4 on May 4th. It is also hoped that some of the very early material will be played in full at a later date.Posted:20/02/2010
Ernie Statue Placed This weekend (20th and 21st) will see the Ernie Wise statue move from it's quarry home and into its final location, close to the Pavillion in Morley. The operation will be in several stages with him being lowered into position around 9am Sunday morning. The official unveiling will take place by Doreen Wise, Ernie's wife, within the next few week it is hoped.Posted:19/02/2010
Two Of A Kind DVD News reaches us that the ATV seires from the 60s, Two Of A Kind, may be coming to DVD very soon. Several online retailers are already advertising the first series, but the producers, Network, won't confirm or deny the release. February Update Welcome this months update. A mixed bag of goodies for you including an audio extract from the 1978 promotional single for the hi-fi company Trio. We also have an article from the 1973 Women magazine and full scans of the 1968 Toronto program. This year is building up to a busy one for us, with numerous events and projects all aiming to launch in the next 12 months. Because of this, we might be a bit busy and updates may be a bit thin on the ground.
