Fans of this great programme will have seen and heard the direct references to Eric and Ern in the first episode of series 2.

Featured on the wall behind the actors was a huge "Keep Britain Tidy" poster. The villain was also prone to whistling "Bring me sunshine" for some reason.

Eric and Ern joined the campaign and had several press photographs taken to promote it.

The Keep Britain Tidy campaign kindly provided us with the image used in the show.
