Limited numbers!
As you may, or may not, know, this website is run by fans, for fans, and does not make any profit what so ever. As with all things in life, nothing is free, and we still have to pay for hosting and domain names, not to mention the costs involved in sourcing new material and travelling to interviews etc..
We would never put adverts on the site, we hate those nasty things, and the only thing at the moment that generates any kind of money, are the links to Amazon in our reviews. Although tiny, this small amount of money pays for about 50% of the hosting costs only.
We are not complaining, we love researching and sharing our material, and keeping fans up to date on new projects.
So we decided to try a different approach to just begging or plastering adverts all over the place!
By purchasing one of these lovely pens, you can help the site… you get a nice pen and we get free advertising (on the pens) which may bring in new fans who might purchase from Amazon. The pens are being sold at cost (+postage), so there is no profit in them.
The pens are not the cheap 20p scratching implements you can buy in bulk. They are good quality, nice to hold and write with. One side has the logo plus the domain name in large black lettering. On the other side is the phrase “Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love”
There are a limited number of these pens. If we sell out, we will get a further batch, but they will have a different phrase on them. So these are unique, and there will only ever be 50 produced.
Of the initial batch, ten have already gone, (we use them, plus others have been handed out at events), which means there is only 30 left to sell.
