Welcome to this seasonal update.
We have a brand new feature, this time on Janet Webb.
Now that Gary's new book is out, we can publish our interview with Joan Morecambe IN FULL. This adds a lot more questions and is packed with great details and insights.
We have an update on the Ernie Wise statue.
Added a review of Gary's new book, You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone.
New Eric Morecambe Museum update with images from one potential site.
Fixed a few gremlins in some parts of the site!!

Small Update this time...
Added an interview with the three people behind Morecmabe the play.
Added the full 1970s programme including scans and text version.
Added brand new feature about Eric and Ern abroad.
Updated the article on Arthur Tolcher to fix an error (thanks Richard).
Updated the shows database with three more TV appearences.

Because we did a mini update a few days ago, the August update will be less packed. Not to say that we don't have some great things for you.
Gary Morecambe gives us an interview about his new book.
We have articles and an advert taken from The Thomas Cook Archives.
Updated the progress on the Ernie Wise statue.

Site Update: 10th May 2009
We have a few more tweaks to the site based on the feedback we've had, plus fixed a few little bugs that were popping up now and again.
Not Now Arthur! Added an new article about Arthur Tolcher.
Beatles get Wise… Added a new article from the TV Times 1964.
Ernie Wise seeks… Added article from 1968 when Ernie made a plea to find the man who helped Eric get to hospital after his first heart attack.
Shows database has had a small update, adding details of a few shows.

First update for the new site and it’s not the monthly one, but just an intermediate one.
Music Hall
Would you believe I completely forgot to add this feature to the new site! Oh well, its back now, along with our selection of some of the acts from 1942. More to come soon.
The Winter Gardens Morecambe
I have added a brand new feature about The Winter Gardens Morecambe. This wonderful old music hall is currently being renovated and we had the pleasure of a guided tour last year.

Also forgotten during the update was the article from the official match programme when Morecambe played Luton.

Last update from the old site.
Welcome to the site with lots of changes. Many articles and features have had
additional images added, all pages are cross-linked with articles that contain connected information. There is a site search
facility plus a lot more... we're working well....
Back to this update then... only a small one due to the new site etc....
We have added details and a review of The Morecambe & Wise Joke Book (this one had eluded us for ages!).
We have added details about the charity Cinderella LP from 1975 (audio extracts will be on the new site).
We have added a feature on the recent Morecambe Town FC versus Luton Town football match (video coming soon).. In connection with that match we have added sections of the official match programme with kind permission from Morecambe FC.
